So I am getting ready to pull the axles on a 1967 Dana 60 from my GTX. I have worked with many 8 3/4's but never a dana. I just want to pull the axles do the bearings and seals. I have heard the axles do not just pull out like an 8 3/4. Is this correct or do they just pull out? Thanks.

Some one told you wrong about them tsk
They remove just like the 8 3/4, remove the five nuts on the bearing retainer and slide the axles out wrench
Make sure that the axle end play pins spacers don't fall out of the center block and get lost or bound up in the rear end when reassembling it scope

If they don't slide out with very little pressure your housing may be bent twocents
