Noticed this "tab" sticking out with what looks like scrapes?
Don't remember it being like this. The material is flexible and feels like 1/8" plastic.
Is this something separating from the pads and moving backwards out of the caliper?
Same on both sides of the car.

Slider calipers on 11.75 disc

That's nothing but a "silencing pad" on the back side of the brake pad, that has lost it's stickiness, and moved around.
Take it off and throw it away, or buy some anti squeak compound in a tube, and install it on the back of the pad.
Either or, your choice.

Yep, those things move around. Also make sure the end tabs on pads have been bent to fit snugly in caliper.

I've not seen a silencing pad move like that before. Interesting.

Does not inspire confidence in their choice of bonding materials. Hopefully they made better choices for the binder holding the friction material in place.
