So ,
I blew up my stroker last year due to a broke piston
Detonation due to failed head gasket frown
Its All fresh - restroked and poked and low comp
diamond pistons and cometics - should be good
Was cheaper to bolt on 240 trickflows
And figured Id try it rather than fight pump gas
with iron heads

Originally trying to be super stock appearing
I had 452 heads with harland sharps and stock covers
I Used Medices spacers to raise the baffles up
and clear the rockers .
They were slightly tapered to match thread angle on
stock heads .

I was going to buy new non angled ones
Glue them on to fresh stock VC’s so I could have two
perfectly flat surfaces and NEVER have vc leaks
again.

Before I could order , my buddy doin dyno for me said that my orig VC’s with stock style medice spacers ( angled) actually fit
perfect even with studs .

Any anyone have experience with
Spacers on stock heads vs trik flows

Fyi - bolt holes on stock iron heads are
angled to help the steel vc seal .. or sumthin

Im not sure if I should proceed with buying new
medice spacers drilled for aftermarket heads ..

Thanks !
