I am looking at buying an old car like this what would be a fair price for something like this. Not looking to restore just a good driver something to tinker with.

'52 Plymouths are my favorite car....I've had a number of them. Fairly simple to work on, mechanical parts easy to get, and very reliable. The one you're looking at is a Cambridge (the lower-line series). Floor, rocker panels, and trunk are major rust areas to watch out for.

These cars are not in big demand. I'd venture to say up to about $3,000.00 if this one runs and drives.

Send me a PM if you have any questions.

That is in real nice shape, but nonetheless those aren't in big demand.

So what is it, a Cranbrook? a Cambridge? Concord?

A bit optimistic I am thinking

It's a Cambridge; the Cranbrook had stainless trim around the windshield and a horn ring. This car has the rubber moulding around the windshield and a horn button.

The 'vehicle number' on the front door post is also coded to indicate model.

On the positive side, it's a 2-door
On the negative side, it's ugly.
flat 6 and 3 on the tree is what they had unless one opted for some goofball Chrysler combo tranny, like clutch PLUS torque converter.

Loos like it runs and drives, $4000 is what comes to mind. Anything less than #3000 would be a very good deal.

Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder.

I'm kind of partial to wagons so this '50 Suburban looks great to me.

Not just 6V, but should be positive ground. 12V conversions and HEI distributors are available at reasonable prices. Tricky part of 12V conversion on my '55 was the wiper motor as it grounded through the motor case. I had to source a '56 motor and install that. Don't know if a '52 is electric or vacuum.

I read somewhere on the net (so it must be true) that from '56 up to '70's the wiper motor was much the same AND also early Dakota's (UNCONFIRMED but will be, ......work in progress!)

Did not get to look at the car this weekend guy never got back to me after I started to ask questions about what model it was. I guess the search continues. I might try contacting him again tomorrow let him settle down a bit.

Well i bought a 1955 Plymouth savoy. Needs a little work but overall its in good shape. It has a rebuilt motor new clutch and pressure plate rebuilt starter all new brakes and lines and master cylinder and new tires. Here are a few pictures pretty solid car for its age.
