I know you can use the LCA from a van to lower your truck. The question is what else can be used.
Looked under a 1988 van the other day and noticed no strut rod.
So would it be better to graphed all the van suspension into the truck?
Is this even possible?
If so It would eliminate the tire rod issue with swapping the LCA's
Rock auto offeres no UCA for the 93 and under truck but have the van stuff.

Isn't the strut rod mounted rearward on the van?

A fair bit of individual parts but they need to be of the same design. There's a LD and HD version, not much if any swaps between the two.

Wrong, the van struts go rearward.

So would it be better to graphed all the van suspension into the truck?

Imho, no, nothing to gain.

Is this even possible?

Some but not enough to be worthwhile, upper control arms are very different.

If so It would eliminate the tire rod issue with swapping the LCA's

Which issue are you talking about?

Rock auto offeres no UCA for the 93 and under truck but have the van stuff.

Afik, upper arms are available for both LD and HD pickups, try a different source.
