What solid joint is everyone running? I just don't trust the hollow ones.
It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

I will update to the big joint and a better yoke when I have the funds to get a new driveshaft. Until then, the forged stuff will have to do. I feel I'm safe with a NA footbrake small block.

I don't have any part #'s handy, but my opinion is that Spicer solid joints are the best. A billet steel rear end yoke with u-bolts is good insurance as well since the forged style can spread over time. 100%

Which series u joints are you running now, 7260(small),7290(big) or 1330 (Stock hemi Dana 60 joint)? I have several Neapco HD 4x4 truck U joints in stock so maybe I can provide you a part #

3.5" wide by 1 1/16" caps. I'm thinking these are the small joints.

That gives me a starting point, but I need the inside c-clips. No, I don't know what this shaft came out of, just that it's the right length.
