I've had a dream of doing this, but to a Superbird. you could fit a good sizer intercooler inside a removable nosecone.


526 cubes of angry wedge, pushbutton shifted, 9 passenger killer!

If the intake is 2.600 the exhaust valve must be pretty tight in there.

I picked it up from Chris Morris in Illinois. It was for sale on this site in race cars for sale. Chris is top notch and great to deal with.

It's a long slow process. I ain't even fired up the welder on this project yet. I need several more big ticket parts. Trans, rearend, crank, ect but these were too good a deal to pass up.
I'll play with the Avenger until I get this one done.

This should be one heck of a car when you finish it. The extra engine compartment room should really make for less nightmares and with the experience you have gained of the years turn out well. Goodluck with you build.
