Brutal , and the best part is it doesn't have to spin 7k+ to make power,
doesn't show it on the chart but it starts to make 0ver 500FT @ 2900 Rpms and doesn't drop below a1k till 5300 rpms. that 71 Demon is going to be a rocket ship.

Just off their price list that's approximately 18K for a 1000hp engine, for comparison sake...572 Indy Street wedge 17,495, 750hp, (base), Indy Gen 2 572, 770hp, 18,495 (base), Indy Gen 3 433" 6.1, 630hp, 20,860 (base). May not be an apples to apples comparison and it was just a quick reference but it sure seems to make this look like a pretty good deal up

I think the article is poorly written although I’m not surprise... not exactly a logical way to build an engine like this.

Step one. Buy overpriced crate

Step two Replace entire engine with aftermarket parts

Step three. Angerly pay credit car bills for overpriced engine you built.

I would run the crate as is. Can a JY block be machined and built including Apaches for that amount of money? And have a warranty?
I am researching and saving to ditch the Magnum in my Dakota. However I'd really like to run an 8 speed auto.

"The aluminum intake is the new Victor II from Edelbrock. It is designed to replace the stock 5.7L and 6.1L/6.4L plastic intakes."

Um, the 6.1l never had a plastic intake manifold.

No longer taking $h!t from anyone!

I agree with 1&2 , but I don't think there would be anger in 3,...reason being in order to do step 2 you have to PHUCKING HIGH, so when the CC bill comes in you would be still HIGH.

$18K does not include the turbo system. You'd have to add for that.
