I purchased a '90 W250 that has a horrendous lift installed and need to go back to stock. The ubolts are currently allthread and super long due to 12" lift or so. Does anyone know what the factory size ubolts are for front and rear? Front is Dana44 so 3500 lb. axle. I'm guessing the bolts are supposed to be 9/16. The front passenger outer would be bigger due to diff and the passenger inner is two studs. Anybody been through this and remember what they had purchased or had made? Thx

I am building/lowering a 86 w150 chassis for a 2x gasser truck..

it has the stock blocks/u-bolts/shock plates on the rear. same as a w250 as far as the blocks & u-bolts/shock plates go.

I just scratched up a short set for a d100 2x chassis.

I will be removing them next week if you want them. shoot me a PM

I have a set of studs that I had made for the 2 in the diff when I used add a leafs, made them a little longer to compensate for the thick add a leaf. made them from cold roll steel.

it has 2 different thread pitches 1 course 1 fine. IIRC 9/16

that 1 u-bolt is an odd ball size also/driver side is 2 - standard 3" u-bolts

you can get some cut to fit ones in the cheap lowering block kits that part stores have on the shelf for the rear if you have to have them NOW.

I will be ditching the front cad axle on mine and will have the 2 upper u-bolt plates that the front swaybar hooks too and the studs/u-bolts from the d44 or the longer studs if you want them.

the cad axles will be looking for a home also. I wont use any of the locking hubs (manual waren lock outs on it)

ditching the 318/727/208 running gear.

what all will you need to put it back stock?

rear drive shaft?

front d44 studs/u-bolts/plates?

rear u-bolts/blocks?

LMK

All I know off hand is they are 9/16 all around. Inners on the passenger side are actually studs, not a u bolt and not a capscrew.

Length will vary according to spring packs (std, he, add a leaf, overload etc) and block height (3 or 6", rear only!)

No offense but you're going to have to mock it up and measure.
