Should I use a paper gasket or foam between MC and Booster?
Can’t recall if factory did...
Thanks

my charger has a plastic/foam gasket thing between the master and booster. it's a factory piece, and may act as something of a breather or vent of some kind by the way it's designed. i don't have any pics though. the FSM, however, does not show, nor mention it, in the exploded view drawing of the brake cylinder/booster and linkage.

Never saw a factory installed gasket between M/C and the booster, matter of fact there is a grove stamped into the booster at the booster-M/C mating surface to allow any brake fluid weepage to drain rather than collect in the booster. Foam gaskets were used on manual brake cars, M/C to firewall backing plate.
