The Mopar chrome box, .25 ohm coil and MSD Black HVC coil or Red MSD coil (depending on mounting position) is my go to Stock ignition setup for the cars I do. I have been running this setup (black coil) on my car for over 10 years with no problems. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if MSD quality is down these days.
