I tried this in the Q&A board with no response so I figured I’d check here.

I was looking at different options for putting my 410 stroker into my recently aquired 71 Duster and ran across the Trans-Dapt Performance Engine Swap Motor Mounts 4695, they’re 1/2 the price of the Schumacher a67a6 A body V8 conversion mounts. Cheaper isn’t always better though so I figured is see if anyone here had run them. I also plan on putting headers on it so those have to clear everything too. I might also just swap to a V8 K member. Any help would be appreciated.

Here’s a link to the mounts on Summit.

Used them to put a 360 in my 69 barracuda that is a factory /6 car. Worked great. Everything fit as it should. I used summit brand headers.

I used them putting my 408 in a '69 Valiant, used a set of no-name headers, had to do some massaging with a ballpeen, but the mounts seemed to fit pretty well.

Thanks for the info guys! I’ll probably give them a try.

Gary that’s a great idea, now that I’m an A body owner I should probably join that board too! Hope your winter was good, did you get your hood replaced? I’m still trying to get my engine back together but it’s close. Hopefully I can have it in the truck n make it up to Milan for Detroit Dragway reunion.

i Ended up putting the steel hood on.
I still have the pieces.. hanging up in the barn. Been a busy winter, picked up a '64 more door Dart to put my old 340 in, then last month we picked up a '79 Ramcharger, so now have 2 hot rods and a 4 wheeler and none are quite ready, Challenger need either a wheel bearing or pinion bearings, not sure yet, and the RC needs headers and Tires, so hopefully I'll have something ready for DD also.

That’s awesome, new toys are always fun! The Challenger looks good with the steel hood, at least you had a spare to use! Here’s a few pictures of my Duster.

The Duster looks good, Should be a fun project. I think I'd paint it Flat black to match your truck, it looks like it's half way there. some wheels and tires, a drivetrain and you're all set up

Flat black with blue stripes was my initial plan, but we’re already kicking around he idea of gloss black with blue stripes or darker blue possibly (B7). Right now it’s a blank canvas to start from. I’ve just got to try to match the brown interior that I’m planning to keep because most of it is in good shape.
