Loc: the frozen wastes...

Years back i stumbled across the oddest find, a '72 Imperial 4dr, in original Meadow Green. Didn't know that at the time, had to look it up just now. I'm pretty sure thats the color anyways... almost lime green, but a tad 'mintier', and duller? I thought it was the neatest green. This a$$ ov course had already gutted the car and was going to demo it, so the car is long gone (too bad it was almost mint), but i never forgot that car. I see the color on paint code sheets, but aside from that one Imperial, i dont think i have ever seen another meadow green Mopar.

Anyone got any Meadow Green cars? Or just pics?

Was wondering if you could order (theoretically) a Meadow Green Challenger Rallye in '72. I think that would be a neat car.

GF3 was not an E-Body color. There was a light green offered in 1973, JF1.

They're still out there.

You might have missed on the C-Body, but here's a survivor-ish Satellite in L.A. It looks to be pretty rust free, and that same uncommon color.

I like those kinds of colors; they remind me of '50s cars, which I think were "friendly".
Now everything has to be butched up to have "attitude" & look like a Transformer.

Nice! Too bad its a 4-door. I missed out on the Imperial because i actually like Imperials. That one was a 4dr too, however. In a way i'm kinda glad the tool had already gotten to it... as i need a smogger 4dr Imp like i need a hole in the head. Now, if it were a 69 2dr LeBaron...

Meh, still rather have black.

Neat color though. If i ever wanted to restore a 'nice' car, like... a non-sinister looking thing... i think a 73 Rallye Challenger (w 70 bumpers) would be it. Found this one last night. It'd be perfect without that damn vinyl roof and side moulding. Kinda partial to the 73 Challenger... my first Mopar.

Nice car in that color! My first car was also a Challenger, but it was a '70 beater that we paid $800 for back in the 1980s. It wasn't green, but FC7 and three other colors of primer.

I agree with the comments on some of these lesser seen colors being "friendlier" and a refreshing change from all the murdered-out, bad attitude machines being built today. I wonder when people are going to get tired of that trend and move to something else?

That being said, I happen to own a triple-black '73 Challenger Rallye project that I am kinda tired of... Maybe I'll finally dump it and concentrate on my Charger instead.

I can't answer all of your questions but here is some info on the release of GJ3-Meadow Green on a Spring Special for Satellites.

Yes, there was meadow green and mist green. My 73 340 duster is originally mist green. When previous owner had rust repairs done the body shop painted the bottom of the car meadow green thinking they were the same. after I purchased the car I had to figure out what was up with the two shades of green.

That Charger looks great in that color, too bad his pic wasn't in the
full sunlight though.

This color must have been popular enough out West. Here's a companion slanty A-body to go with the four door Satellite that I posted earlier. This Duster is even closer, so let me know if someone wants me to take a look.

The only problem i have with this, is it seems the same as the other 'classier' colors, in that the factory, or perhaps people ordering it seemed to tend to order more trim. I see a lot ov side rubber trim, more chrome, vinyl roofs, etc. I like monochrome, i think this color would look cool as hell without all that silly trim.
