We at BGR have recommended Larry many times to our customers for fiberglass products.I have known Larry for more years than I can remember and consider him a great friend.
It is with great concern that I have to post this but the last few customers that I have referred have had various issues getting their product in quality and timely fashion.Most all past issue have been resolved recently one of our guys,Neil Lewis order a hood scope for his 63 Dodge a Item that Larry is known for.Neil paid up front and still has not received his product.Larry has made various excuses about his employe issues and other,this is not Neils problem.Either step up and send the quality scoop or return Neils payment.
Either way I hope you do the right thing and BGR and Sled City can remain respectful.

Wow Bob, nothing like throwing your "Great Friend 's" business under the bus.. If you were so concerned you should have just called him and stated that you were no longer sending customers his way because of the feed back you were getting. I guess you did that in this post big time. Does Larry even read Moparts postings?

Things like this tend to get resolved quicker when brought to the public eye. I take it, it's more a last resort attempt. I personally use a credit card to pay for stuff anymore, so I can just have them handle it.

This is nothing new from Sled City. I know Larry and have even raced with/against him and he is a nice guy. However when it comes to his business it's another story. I will never buy from him again.

Story is a few years ago I paid him for a hood for my 64 Dodge. He said he would have it done in 3/4 weeks. After several attempts to get in touch with him and leaving messages for over 3 months I just about gave up. Low and behold I finally run into him at a race and ask him about the hood. He says I sure do have it done and it's at home. I say great I will follow you home to get it even though it's out of my way going home from the rack. (He knew I would be at this race and could have brought it if he listened to my message) Anyway I get his address just in case he leaves before me and guess what he does!! So I go to his house and get there around 8pm from the track and he's still not home. I waited there and right around midnight he shows up???? Said he stopped to get something to eat??? Got the hood and went home - hear the same issues from many people.

Add me as another person that will never buy from Sled City again. I was told by Larry that I should fix the problem with the scoop I had just removed from the shipping box. Buyer beware.

Sometime people throw them selves under the bus.I was more than respectful and gracious.That he can not be reached or return calls, call for other measures.What would hurt his business more a passionate plea to a friend to do the right thing or start a threatening badmouth campaign.Larrys knows me well enough that I mean no disrespect and I know he will get the message through this media.I wander how you would react if it was your parts and money.You must think that after almost 60 years running BGR That I'am nieave in the ways of business.You ASSUME to much,but I appreciate your comments.

People have posted many times on many forums and facebook about the lack of customer service from Sled City , I thought everyone already knew it .

How any why you reach out to someone on social media can be helpful to both partys as well as informative to others.As long as it is respectful, no one should be offended.It can serve as a last ditch attempt to make contact before the issue becomes a bash fest.That certainly wasn't my intent.As I mentioned before we have done business with Larry and been friends for years and yes have had issues and have resolved them,I hope this can reach the same result in a timely fashion.Sadly racing season is underway and Neil needs his scoop.Neil now finds it necessary to go to another manufacture even though he has paid Larry.Neil has been a part of the BGR racing family for many years and I would be a less friend to Neil if I didn't step up to try and resolve the issue since I recommended Sled City.It goes to show that even I make mistakes. As I mentioned it was not my intent to offend anyone,just resolve an issue among friends,if I did I won't apologize because someone assumed I was being disrespectful.Most everyone here knows my character.Racers helping racers,nothing less nothing more,and respecting my son Curts' memory "a friend to all"

From my life experience, any business that requires 100% payment upfront, will not guarantee a delivery time, and has ANY customer issues disclosed online, is suspect IMO.

Sometimes people get lax over time and Need to be sent a strong message. It happens and it seems its time in Larrys case, on more then one media board as well. I appreciate your post Bob and stand behind it.

I am in the market for a Hemi Scoop hood for my 68 Barracuda. It didn't take but just a quick google to determine that was not a place to buy from.
