Looks great! Were you able to install the aft retention nut on the 340 cuda pin or did you have to drill a holes for access? My hood only has access for the fwd pin.

Thanks guys, Dennis there's no easy access but I'll figure out how they did it. Maybe a plastic insert? I wondered why my car had a (broken) strange type rivet at the drivers side quarter panel for the vinyl top trim retention instead of the stud type clip. I later saw they miss-aligned it and the holes did not match. I simply opened the inner hole and used the clip, guess the factory had no time for that.

My 72 has the V21 hood paint and color keyed grille. Paint and hood was gone off the car when I bought it in 81 but tracked down the original owner, he still had the hood in the rafters of the garage. I bought it and still has nice original paint on it. My car has shaker now. Coming up in Mopar Muscle soon. Cool thread!

body line/contours are off on the pass front. I think the 2 pre-drilled holes were off slightly compared to the bends one is high and the other is low, essentially it needs to rotate clockwise some

A little late now but I use sheet metal clecos to hold the trim in the factory holes then clamp the patch panel in to get the panel straight.

Looks like yours fit similiar to mine. It took some time but I was able to get them to contour in a little better. I didn't use the old holes. Just clamped in place and drilled new holes. Next car I do I will weld up the holes prior to paint. Your doing good keep us posted with pictures.

Great attention to detail! This thread is reading more like a resto book than a guy putting together his driver car in a garage. Excellent work!

The antenna was an issue. I ordered the kit from DCS but the bezel forced the antenna at a 45 degree angle. Details are here: the antenna thread This is the bezel that caused the issue, I believe it is an AAR bezel

I think you are right on the bezel. The first one looks like my T/A one. The top came out great, you did a really nice job on it. Keep the progress reports coming. You are making super progress on it.
