Thanks Curtis, with what you have done to help me in the past there will always be a seat for you in my Car. I should have listened on those black door panels too. Why not edit your post above and add a pic of your Cuda THAT CAR IS GORGEOUS.

These will be blasted this week if all goes as planned. Have to spend the planned funds before the MATS or I'll buy NOS widgets for someday

Rust removed

EDIT: Playing find the spot weld on pitted metal is not fun

I think I'll still use my original hood. Mine was sweet except for the patches from the bogus hood pins. Not too happy about engine heat Vs filler shrinking issues. not to metion hood slamming etc. Since I applied the current "All Metal" brand body filler a few years ago I should be good on the filler shrinkage issue. The spare hood has minor pitting above the battery area otherwise mint

This thing is looking GREAT! Keep it up and i will tell you this now, take your time and do it to the best of ability. Your only going to hate yourself later for trying to get it done quick and taking shortcuts just to get it done. I know with my project i did some things that i regret now, sure it looks great but there are just some little things that bug me that only will bug me. Its all about satisfying yourself.

Thanks, and coming from you it means allot

Your work is very inspiring and to be so young and tackle such a large project is amazing!!

I am trying not to take any short cuts. Short of not removing entire panels to totally illimante hidden rust.

This will be a 2 stage repair
Cover me I'm going in

Went to drop off the parts to be blasted and make the patches and then ended up with my friends sample V-gate adapter/mounting plate. I called a relative and headed to drop it off to be CNC replicated (for personal use NOT FOR SALE for the moparts police)well Dan is cleaning up some Hemi parts and could use a blaster. I just got one and it is at Johns and we headed over.... so I got side tracked...but had a blast... pun intended

Great progress!!!
Gonna be a challenge keeping all the rubber off your new, shiny quarters after the paint goes on! Looking forward to seeing you at MATS. Let me know when you will be in Vegas.

Thanks Tom, not such a good day today. I got a start on the patches yesterday afternoon. They should be cool.I should be finishing the rear window patches but came down with a rather violent stomache flu this morning.

The individual who runs the Soda Blaster lost a family member so he is gone all week. Sheetmetal is in my truck. Either another blaster or after the MATS but I am in no shape to do anything

The day we started
