I have my 1965 Dodge Monaco 426W 4 speed up for sale. Has original drive train. Only component that is not original is the carb but I have a date coded correct carb that has been redone. Car will/needs a total restoration. Has been off the road since 1984, however does run and move under its' own power, it is a "yard car" and not road worthy. Car is being sold with a ton of parts, many of which are NOS. Except for driver side rear quarter have all factory rust free sheet metal that is needed. Replace whole panel or cut and patch, either way no fabrication needed to create the part. Have fender tag but no build sheet. Do have copy of build tag from Chrysler Historical showing it is the real deal. All parts and literature go with the car as a package, nothing will be broken up. You will need a full size van or small box truck to haul the parts.
I know many of us spout about how rare certain cars are. This one truly is. I had owned another '65 Monaco since 1991 and when this one came up for sale my jaw dropped as I had never seen nor heard of one previously. Of course that does not mean one hadn't been for sale, I personally never saw one. After having had this particular car for about 10 years, I can absolutely say I have never seen another. I have found 3 426W automatic '65 Monacos and 4 383 4speeds but not another 426W 4 speed. Are there others out there? Possibly. If you do a Google search mine is the only one that pops up. If anybody has concrete proof of another that is still around please pass the info along as I would like to know about it.
I'm sure many will have rude remarks about my price, get over it and move on. I do not have to sell but would like to. I do not see me getting to this car anytime in the near future and would rather pass it on to someone who understands its' true rarity and will bring it back to where it belongs. Please PM me with any questions. I can email you many more pics or requests. I would prefer that if anyone is serious about this car to come look at it in person. $20,000.

I've had this car since 1985. In earlier years, I'd start it occasionally and drive it up and down my street. Mostly garage-kept, recently started the engine after 20+ years, runs off gas can.

The good:

Complete car including both rear fender skirts and all 4 Magnum wheels
Very rare, only 3,400 made
383 engine with Torqueflite transmission
Original factory red paint with black vinyl interior
Includes excellent used rear bumper to replace the one that's on the car now
Replacement exhaust system inlcuded
Has keys and clear title in my name so no paperwork hassles
Still has Certi-Card in holder under hood
A real eye-catcher when restored

The bad:

There's no denying that it's a project car...needs full restoration
Rear floor on passenger's side rusted out

Located in Freehold, NJ. $6,500.00.
