That's Cool,
Are you going to be able to sell Arrow/Prefix's Alum Manifold? or just the Drag Pak

Everything they sell!
My goal is to make the Gen 3 Hemi swap more popular than the LS swap

Thats a wonderful goal and all but it ain't gonna happen till we get a few key parts that are afordable like carb intakes and such. LS intakes start out under $300 shipped. Ignitions under $400. Headers for the most common swaps under $300. As awesome as the high quality high dollar stuff is it will never be as popular as some lower priced options for the vast majority of people.

Rylispro,
Can you tell us what blocks are what? They offer aluminum blocks on their website for $3750 but what one is it? Do they make and offer the new blocks the drag pak guys are using? What are all the different pn's? Seems like a total lack of info and pricing.

Hey fbs63,

Prefix is still getting a parts and pricing list together and I'll get it sorted out on my website as soon as they send it to me.

As for the blocks the one posted on their website is P5155507 with a finished bore 4.125 max bore 4.155.

P5153898 with a finished bore 4.114 max bore 4.185 is also available.

The new updated blocks that just came out are not currently available but I'll get more info of when they do.

I'm going to base my next 426 engine off of one

The new updated blocks do you mean the one with the offset lifters?
If so I'm interested in the info also!
Thanks Matt

Who sells an adapter for this and how much? Theyre certainly not going to bolt on with those different flange angles and deck heights...

It won't bolt on! LOL
But the port spread is almost identical.
Need a base plate.
But at 70 dollars an intake it maybe worth the effort.
Matt

No news yet on the blocks. The Prefix guys are busy with TA2 as they now build Ford and Chevy engines as well as the Hemi's. Been in touch with Jordan at Prefix last week but he's hard to get a hold of at times.

I want to know what pieces are going to be custom.
Looks like a standard G3 cam won't work.
Don't know if stock heads will work. Hopefully they will with some clearancing.
Time will tell.

News on the 7.0L blocks is that they are still a couple months out for Prefix to be able to get. I'll keep everyone posted

Thanks!

Blocks and heads should be available thru DSR. That’s where I got my last shipment from shown in previous photos.

This combo of relocated litter requires this head and block combo. It has a unique valve train from Jesel or T&D. Jesel is adjustable T&D is not.

60mm cam required

Just got off the phone with Prefix and have some info to clarify with the Gen 3 Hemi aluminum blocks.

6.1 aluminum blocks are available and have been used in builds a little over 1000hp. These blocks are available through Prefix.

7.0 aluminum blocks are basically 6.1 blocks re-cast with additional reinforcements and "X" bracing on the blocks. Made primarily for the 2016 354 cid and 426 cid Drag Pack Challengers, most all have been already sold and Prefix cannot get them.

6.4 aluminum blocks are a new release from Mopar made for the Factory Stock drag racing series and have relocated oil pick ups and require different oil pans among other changes to accomodate for VVT options. They are so new that even Prefix is not able to get them but may be available through your local Mopar dealer.

Whats the weight of the 6.1 blocks? Sometimes Aluminum is a pretty spendy diet

I don't know the exact weight just that the 6.1 aluminum blocks are advertised as 100 lbs. lighter than the production cast iron 6.1 blocks.

Not really apples to apples comparison, but when I swapped out my cast iron aluminum top end 340 with the current all-aluminum 426 Gen3 it was about 80lbs. less on the front end.

Yes, the engine was very expensive but I am so happy that I got it. No issues with it whatsoever, has ran great for thousands of miles with no major issues, very responsive on a road course and best of all no leaks!
