I'm running a supercharged 416 with a 1970 340 block. My block and main caps are stock. I had 680 hp but after some upgrades I'm expecting to gain a little over 100 more. I want to put a girdle on it but I don't know which one to buy.

I have used the Hughes girdle on two big blocks and one small block. They have worked well for me. Not saying they are the best by any means, but they are a nice piece.

BCR By far has the most R&D in there piece and really seems to be the most complete setup.

I suggest just taking a second to read about it on there.

Do they make them for small blocks. I thought they only made big block parts.

Better think about going the aftermarket way if you ask me. 750+ out of a stock block is asking for trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
