I'm trying to figure out what rim best fits the rear of my Dart?

Leaf springs moved up against the frame rail(not under) Stock Axle width.

I remember years ago being able to fit a 28.5 X 9 Firestone under the car with a 7 inch Auto Drag. ( I can't remember the backspace. )

I'm thinking a 15 X 7 3 1/2 back space would work...

Anyone care to share there experience with this?? TIA

I would guess it would want closer to a 4 1/2" to 5" backspace with either a 7-8" wide wheel...

With my springs moved in 3/4" and the rear end moved back 1/2" I ran a 15 X 8 with a 5.5" bs and a 275 radial.

Years ago I put some 8x26 slicks on lil red/warlock 15x8's and fit was decent after trimming a wee bit of the lip up above.

I ordered Billet Specialties 15X 8 5 1/2 B.S. today.

Next is my front dilemma Time to get rid of the 4 inch bolt pattern

I think you will be happy with that choice.

You can ordered a Wilwood or Strange front disc conversion for whatever spindle you currently have. May be easier than trying to find a good factory setup...

If your wanting to go cheap the 1973 to 1976 stock OEM A body disc brakes (4.5 inch bolt pattern with bigger wheel bearings) with the upper A arms and lower control arms bolt right on up scope

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

Cab_Burge has the right idea. That's the way to go for cheap. I found a complete setup off a valiant in a junkyard and it had new brake rotors and pads!

I used the Strange kit. Went from '72-'73 A-body factory disc setup and lost over 50 lbs too. !!!
