I am trying to find out if any supplier would have a Left hand front fender in stock . Quite happy with AMD etc .
Would be happy if they can ship direct to Australia .
I have emailed and googled , most don't show . According to Summit , AMD is 6-9 months away .
This is an insurance repair for my Satellite .
Any help appreciated

Tex

I would rather have a clean used one then a repo.

Hit and miss really. I have a early '68 hood here that they mounted the skin off to one side. They want to measure one of theirs to compare to mine but "OOPS !" none in stock. Call us in 3 to 4 months they said when we get more in. mad

AMD's 69 rr hoods were one of the best parts I've ever used that they made.

I see even goodmark is out of stock on 68 rr fenders too.

What about modifying a 69 rr fender if amd has any?

I am sure that could be done , I think only the sidelamp is the only thing different - not sure if that is all .
BUT I will have to airfreight/import a fender regardless might as well try and get the correct one

I think that's the operative word here. I had heard that they have a different overseas company supplying their goods (though I admit that has not been confirmed)and QC has gone down some.

Ok
thanks guys .
Will a 1969 front fender interchange with a 1968 Satellite/Roadrunner ?
Has anyone done this ?

Looks like 3+ months backorder for a 1968 fender .

Or bite the bullet and go AAR fibreglass

i'm going to guess here, but i think the only difference is the 68 has a round marker light, while the 69 has a rectangular reflector. correct me if i am wrong please.

Beside the marker light, the 69 fender also has the hood adjuster and bracket attached, where that is attached to the unibody in a 68.
The headlight bezel mounting is different too.
Yes, a 69 fender can be converted, but there are several changes to be made.

Just did a quick search on E-bay. Kramer has one listed which is a well known Mopar parts dealer. Give them a call.

thanks for the reply ! i knew there may be other differences, but i am not an expert on these. i remember in my junk yard ownership days we sold fenders that needed alterations to "fit", but we never concerned ourselves with hacking and chopping to make things "fit". thanks again for pointing out ALL the differences. up
