I saw the non-tilt ones that had some type of harness but none with the tilt ones. I don't know.

This comes up with non-tilt

Same part that I need but for a tilt column, probably because of the different switch. shruggy

The Rockauto one above is for tilt. All the ones that look like the one I posted with harness state "non-tilt" so I don't get it either.

If you need the switch you need the part he posted, if you need the mechanism that operates the switch, that's a whole 'nother animal.

The tilt is for sure, a delco style column-switch but that does not mean a chevy switch will work. I'm thinking it's similar and I don't know how hard it will be to obtain, but it is surely different from the straight column style.

Yes the deco style has me wondering if a GM type might be an option.

The key in the column on a tilt pulls a rod that connects to the switch under the dash that is attached to the column with two screws.

Do you need the lock & rod assembly? Or the switch attached to the column under the dash? Or the wiring connector(s)? ( Older harnesses had 1 connector, newer there are 2 connections that plug into the switch). Both connectors (one piece or two piece) are part of the dash harness. Gene
