1/2 ton?
Might be able to use earlier discs.
If not then the whole she-bang from like an earlier truck...

Look up the part number and check out the measurements for the bearings.

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

I bought new parts at NAPA for the front , I wrote all the part numbers down but ..not on me now

Rear, lucked out and found a rear to pull axles out of with 4 1/2 bp

was fairly easy once we got all the parts figured out

Rotors from an 84 for the front, you'll have to swap the axles and drums for the rear.

yes, 82-84 for truck rotors and a 76 new Yorker/c-body rotors fit the trucks.

the rear is a little more involved. maybe you already have this done?

the 9 1/4 c-clip change in 85-93/5 on 5.5 axles don't swap over. so you cant just swap axles.

I have read you can use the thinner c-clip/5 on 4.5 axles in the 85 up 9 1/4 carriers but never tried it myself so not sure if that works.

not sure about the 10 bolt axles. these axles may swap??

FYI>> trucks share the same 43" perch centers as A-body cars.

***** 72-74 4x4 truck 8 3/4 have the 5 on 5.5 axles and can use a set of c-body car axles to get the 5 on 4.5

any 72-79 c-body car 9 1/4 or 8 3/4 is same trac width as a truck axle -just move the perches as needed.

I have a 68 dart A-body 8 3/4 in my 88 440 truck. this tucks 12" rims 325/15/15 M/Ts in the fenders with tub work. bolts in on top of leafs with a-body shock plates/u-bolts.

I used a 67 c-body Polara 8 3/4 in my 85 stepside to tuck 10" rims in the fenders.

I also have a 74 w100 8 3/4 in a 2x truck and just clear a 10" rim 4.75" backspace with a 29x11.50x15 in the fenders no tub work.

some of the jeep 8 1/4 and 9 1/4 axles have the 43" perch centers and a little wider than an a-body 8 3/4... nice for tubbing a truck for fattys.

Thank you,the rear in the truck is a 8.25 peg leg that i would like to
beef up and change the bolt pattern to 5x4.5 .Not looking to go huge on
tires but a 275/60/15 on a 8 inch wheel and a 17 inch wheel up front haven't figured that tire size yet.
I have a 9.25 out of a 94 ram 3.55 open rear and the 8.25 in the truck now that has the axle perches flipped.
Which rear would be best to mess with?
There's also a guy local to me with a ton of jeep parts where i could source a rear cheap.
right now Its a slant 6,4speed getting a warmed over 5.2 mag swapped in with the 4 speed in the next few weeks.Should make some decent power .

94 is wider trac width

a jeep axle will need tub work and get some wide rims.

the 10 bolt you have will do fine, add a suregrip and fresh bearings set up with a solid spacer not a crush sleave.

same for a 9 1/4 fresh pinion/carrier bearings and set it up with a solid spacer. fresh spider gear/washer kit with a new pin.

$$ well spent if you saty with stock 10/12 bolt rears.

myself I prefer the 8 3/4 in everything.

around here the 10/12 bolt stock axles are MIA/gone

I would like to find a 10 bolt 3.21 pegleg myself.

with a stock 10 bolt or 12 bolt axle you can fit a 275/60/15 on a 10" rim with a 4.75-4.5 backset with no tub work.

drop air pressure in rear pass side tire for traction and help make rear driver side bite on the launch.
