Can I ask a favor? I need the dimension for the center to center spacing on the hood pins of a Barracuda (not a Challenger). Don't need to split atoms but +/- 1/16" would be great.

I just measured my original AAR hood that's sitting in my office and it's 43" on the nose.

The under hood skins have holes for the pins, so the hoods themselves should be measured.

Mounting brackets / pins can be bent, tweaked etc. but the pin holes should be centered via the larger under skin holes in the hoods.

I easily could have given you an under hood skin education Jim, I'm so so sorry for giving you exactly what you asked for.

Interesting?,...I measured the center to center of the pins as requested 43 3/4 center to center, I then measured the same car's hood's holes, (71 Cuda shaker) 43 7/8" across the top of the hood, center to center

I have 2 other Shaker hoods, same measurement ....plus a Cuda Sport hood that measured 43 5/8" center to center across the top of the hood's holes ...I have a Challenger T/A but that's a moot point for measurement,...

So the question is?, is an AAR's pin hole (43" CTC) spacing different? or is this a case of badly placed holes seeing the unique build of T/A cars? ...inquiring minds would like to know?



FWIW: the holes center to center measure the same top or bottom...

I'm sure it is a quality issue with the glass hood Mike. I am to lazy to check all the hoods I have in my storage container.
