Did the wire that goes to the oil sending unit (Rallye Dash) have one of these plastic plugs on it? Or did it just have the metal contact piece? Thank you.

On my 70 Roadrunner, there was no plastic piece....but my car was a wreck when I got it, so it may have been broken sometime before I owned it
