How would a 700hp low deck, 13-1, filled to 1 1/2" below the deck, electric pump, cool on the street ?
Would E85 make a big difference ?

Depends on if you're driving a few miles to the drive-in or shopping center, or if you have a big fuel tank and want to go someplace 150 miles away.
If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Water temps wont be the issue, oil temps will. I have a filled block street car with a big oil cooler and it has been that way since 2001 with zero ill affects. Hot days the oil temp will climb but with a good cooler its more than liveable

How far do most of the guys drive these 🚙. A quick trip for an icecreme cone or to a local cruise. If you drive further than that plan according

I can't speak to the big block, but my 1/2 filled small block was totally fine... until I put the engine diaper on it... then things started getting HOT. Put a oil cooler on it... never a problem since.
Just plan on a cooler and you'll be fine. Don't you run E85 ??

I agree and that's what I run, an oil cooler.
Funny though we have 3 big blocks on the go, 2 strokers 1/2 fill and a 440 NO fill, the 440 is running the hottest on the water side and we are trying to sort this right now.
One way I was looking at it is if you have fill the oil down the bottom is not getting as much cooling from water and the water is not getting as much heat from the oil.

My buddies Pontiac was half filled on his 10:70 street car that we sprayed also. It was fine temp wise & oil tempo wise under normal street driving. He drove it back & forth to work many times. In fact, it always ran cooler than any of my Mopars do (not filled).
