My rear of driver's seat tank needs a new fuel fill neck grommet. It's leaking fumes stinking up the cab.

I could really use the part number to help me locate a new one.

Thanks!

Larry

Iirc same as 68-69 b body. I think the outside one is the same as well.

Doorman makes them.

I figured it's the same one as on some other vehicles, but just can't find one that comes up a match. Tried rockauto.

Are you looking for a new one to seal or one that looks correct as well?

I grabbed a couple Dorman ones for my crew cab, haven't installed them yet as truck needs paint big time.
I'll try to get the pn later today.

I just want one that properly fits and seals tank so I don't smell fumes. 1979 standard cab behind seat tank.

Thank you.

Larry

4002010 GROMMET Filler to Body

2221771 GROMMET Filler to Tank

Strangely enough Brad's NOS may not be the most expensive option.

I'm looking at the 4002010 and wondering if; while I love NOS, in this case I should buy aftermarket? Do you think NOS might be too old and dried out/cracked? I see Dorman makes them.

Thanks again for numbers Red.

4002010 can be had new from the dealership or countless listings on ebay.

Once I got the part number, I saw them on ebay but figured they were NOS and was concerned about dry rot. But if they are still in production then I will get a new one. Just bought a new Mopar one off ebay for $17.00 including shipping.

Btw, I think the numbers are reversed as to where they go (I believe the 2221771 is filler to body), but thanks again, I got them both and am very grateful to you for providing part numbers!!

Glad they are going to work out.

My apologies for errors in the parts manual.

The pictures are correct but descriptions are not. I unfortunately did not look at the pics.
