Will be running an ms3 gold box and need to switch to a cable operated tb... used one meqasquirt listed on their site for the last one, but don't see them available now. I know bbk has them, but kind of pricey. What other options are there, direct fit or with adapter.

I use a FAST Big Mouth 87mm throttle body part# 54089. It uses GM sensors though.

I also use an MS3 gold box and Mike converted my sensors to GM ones

Thanks-

They are about 360... was looking to see if there are other options, not a price on something I already know about.

maybe consider an LS swap if bolt-on Hemi parts are too expensive. That plus the junkyard trans would be perfect. drive

Slow moving items on Amazon sometimes end up with low pricing until one gets bought.

Goodysgotapoint, how do you plan to control idle speed?

The same way as on a carb... with a stop/adjuster. Summer car that won't be driven in cold weather, not much of an issue.

Have fun, IACs aren't cheap anyway.

Use the comp cams adapter (~$60) then any LS throttle body you want. Setting up the GM TPS and IAC is pretty straightforward on the MS based system.

Pick up a used Viper one.
Cable was used until 07 IIRC.

EFIsource sells an adapter to use ls style tb's and the harness can be ordered to use them also. Adapter is around 50.

Looks like the issue with the viper one is they ran twin tb's and you'd have to use a left side tb to attach the cable, but then linkage goes to the right side and that's the one with the tps sensor.

I bought spectra fi cuda tank for 114 shipped from amazon... Guess I need to check there more often. I noticed they have another, started aroun 350 and down to 260 now in a couple days.

Funny you mentioned the crazy deal on the Spectra FI Tank.

Just the other day I just picked up an E-body, Spectra FI pump/sender SUPER CHEAP on Amazon too. Too cheap to pass up.

If you need it for your tank, let me know.

Mine came with the sender and all. Already ordered a walbro 450 to replace the stock pump... cost almost as much as the whole tank laugh2

Also not going to mod the stock tb, going 92mm ls with the adapter... Using a car intake with the truck style timing cover since the newer ones comes with electric steering and it's easy to eliminate power steering. The ls style should clear the alternator since the cable will be on the passenger side of the intake.

DAMN! you really did get a hell of a deal!

I just wish Spectra made FI tanks for A bodies.
