My e body heater box looks a little tired color wise and wondered how you guys refreshed yours?

If it has never been painted try wiping it down with a good coating of soft car wax and hand buff it. Also, you can just Spray Lemon Pledge on for a quick spiff up. It works very well!

Will try that and thanks! Another question- what color is the heater blower housing? Gloss black maybe?

AC - It's painted gloss black
Non/AC - it's plated, clear zinc

In 73, the factory started using black painted blower motors on non A/C E-bodies. twocents

FYI, I was refering to the plastic heater box HOUSING not the blower motor.

I just restored my 71 Cuda heater box, Stephan @ SF restorations rebuilt and refinished my blower motor and I just cleaned my housing with Dawn soap and water. I hope these pictures help
