I saw a 6 speed stocker with Joe Average driving at 41 a couple years ago. He ran 13 teens at 118. It finally quit spinning in 4th gear. It will be a win if your guy keeps it in his lane.

If it is a six speed just tell him to drive it like he is launching on the street next to a cop, then lean on it lol.

I have a 6-speed Hellcat Challenger. On stock tires traction is a joke. If he tries to feather the clutch he will smoke it. Love the car, but it's not an optimal drag car in stock form. If it had slicks, aftermarket driveshaft, and decent driver, it would be a different story.

I've beat both the automatic and manual trans versions, but they were running stock tires. I know that wouldn't be the case if they had slicks. Both Hellcats were charging hard at the end of the strip, but needed another 50 feet or so.

Turn the traction control off. Hold the button in till it chimes If it's on. Tire spin just a tad and it will be same as You take your foot all the way off the gas. And it will be over then...
