What is a 69 coronet n96 hood worth with scoops and no ramcharger air box?

A family is selling a collection of parts of a deceased brother and offered it at $1600, which I cannot find a sold listing for this much. Any help in setting a price?

At this point its just a flat hood with holes in it , IMHO. Id go several hundred if its nice.

For $1600.00 I would expect it to be complete with the airbox and scoops.
Also in good usable/restorable condition.

Agree with Matt. Scoops are worth $300-400, hood probably a little less.

Scoops about $300-$400 as stated. Hood, if in great shape, $400. So $1600 way overprice. For just hood and scoops.

Having said all that you will not find a 69 N96 ramcharger hood and scoops for 800. Rust free, start at about 1k-1200

Oh and i dont agree its a hood with holes in it. There are some differences if you were to cut your own holes smile

I have to side with shamefulcuda on this. The frame structure under an n96 hood is different (meaning more stamped cutouts) than a normal flat coronet hood. It would be difficult to cut a non n96 hood to look like an original (IMO).

Gotcha. Didnt figure ma would spend money on such things, but I guess the 70-72 decklids with or without go wing cutouts point out the flaw in my thought.

Yah just some small differences to mounting so the N96 mounts without interference from the under hood bracing.
