Guess I may be the only one that thinks this car would look amazing in its original form?? Anyone know of a similar combo?

Ask for a photo of the dash VIN & see if the rivets scare you.

Why would you waste all that money on a restoration and not paint it the colors it came in?

I am not interested in buying the car myself. Just saw the tag and thought it would look amazing in the factory combo!

Wouldn't scare me in the least if the tag matches the other body numbers, 69 is good for that. Tag was probably removed for the color change and resto, seen it quite a bit. It needs to be put back in the original colors, so buy new rivets when you do it... work

If that is the second place car hate to see what the others looked like. What a great original color scheme though.

I don't see anything wrong with the master? but the plate behind it should be black, right?

The cover is wrong and yes the plate behind it should be black.I noticed the cover but didn't notice the plate till you pointed it out.

Everything under the hood is sprayed orange. Inspection covers, the bolts that show from steering column mount, the break lines. Major pet peeve of mine. What other short cuts are there? I agree that the original color combination would have been much more interesting. But this is probably more resale driven than anything.

Except the hood hinges... which should be body color... correct?

original combo was really great silver with a white painted roof and a silver interieur.

It would be really worth it to return it back to original

I know the car very well as the owners are friends of mine. The car was very nice: but in my opinion the original color combo of white with a silver top and silver interior was/is not very attractive.
This may be the one time I would have changed colors also.
