fired the car up today motor runs and sounds great took it for a quick run down the street every thing seems good trans brake worked delay box worked brakes worked.
Only 2 small problems I have 3 freeze plugs leaking for some reason and I have a little to much oil pressure.
It is carrying 70lbs at an idle in neutral and if I tach it up it pegs the gauge at over 100lbs Damn.
I shot video but it is on an old camcorder that is 8mm tape so I have no way to post it right now.
But all in all things went good I need to back the timing on the crank trigger down its a little high at 43 deg.

way to go may try aq different guage. what kind of pump did you use? mine idles at 60 and goes up another 10-20

gauge is a new Autometer Sport Comp the pump is a Melling HV that I ported and cleaned all the flashing out of and polished up and the gauge reads off the oil filter housing.
Also keep in mind this block has lifter bushings also restricted oil to cam bearings trying to keep all the oil on the crank as we could.

any ideas on the oil pressure should I just cut a little off the srping in the pump if so how much.
