So who made it to this auction today? 5 1968-9 Chargers, some road runners, 68 gtx. They didn't post about the title issues until this week and it swayed me to not go (the 12 hour one way drive was also the other big issue). Lots of interesting stuff. But you don't really know which cars were which by looking at the pictures... Wondering if anybody here ended up with anything at a decent price?

No, I don't recall this one being posted here. I talked to a friend about MAYBE going, but there's just too much other stuff on my plate right now. Not like I could have afforded even one of those project Chargers for what they bring these days. Looking forward to hearing from someone who actually went.

Scrolling through those pics was kind of an eye opener! If I left my wife with a nightmare like that, she'd never forgive me. If not many people knew about it, the stuff probably went cheap. We'll see how much of it shows up at Rockingham or Farmington I suppose!

seems the shells inside are pretty stripped and there selling the parts for them seperately?the couple cars outside look more complete than the ones inside.

Hard to tell if he was parting them out, or trying to build one car then started buying more and more. Probably enough good metal there to build a nice car or two.

The older Mopar guys here have stashes like that. They have been buying up anything they can get there hands on for many years. Years ago I used to go to swap meets with pockets full of cash looking to buy stuff for my car, but soon realized that there is very little Mopar out there that come up for sale. So much of it has been consolidated to a handful of people that it's crazy.

Don’t have any firsthand information, but I’ve heard there were no bargains, that stuff went crazy high.

Word I'm getting is that the shells of the cars you see in the pics went for $5k minimum and up from there. And then the parts for the various shells sold SEPARATELY, so complete projects were either considerably more expensive, or just not to be had... But once again, that's second-hand info.
