Trying to find correct kick down linkage for my car, and it looks like Chrysler had trouble figuring out what to put on it too. Looking at the parts books, it's pretty confusing and seems to have different info in the March 71 parts pages vs the Jan 72 parts pages. Could they have used the one piece rod on some 340 cars and 3 piece rods on others? It doesn't look like a bell crank pin was ever installed on this car's original transmission, but I know I've seen the 3 piece setup on what was supposed to be an original 71 340 Cuda. The A-body cars probably had to use the 3 piece linkage due to limited room.

Thanks as always for your help.

Try this place. A&A Transmissions sells a complete and correct looking reproduction of the 70-71 340 kickdown linkage.
