I use stainless steel media, does a nice job, works pretty much on every alloy, I just did some aluminum Supercharger drive parts, looks like I spent all day on the buffing wheel they came out so nice, tumble/vibratory is really great, gets into EVERY crevice and polishes 100% FYI I do vibratory/tumbling with water and soap solution along with the SS media, keeps the balls clean! otherwise they get gummy

Stanton Don't question me! S Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 8,853 Ontario, Canada	One with a plastic barrel !! I also thought of building one with a 25 gal. plastic drum. Set it on an angled frame. Use casters for it to roll on. Pulley and motor at the bottom. A baffle inside to stir things up. Just haven't found the time !!
