Continuing with my pursuit of retrofit hydraulic roller B/RB camshafts, this board was immensely helpful with the oil pump drive gear. So.. the next concern...fuel pump pushrod. What should I use for an aftermarket hydraulic roller?

What's the cam made of? Call the cam maker and ask them.

IIRC they have a bronze tip rod to use on billet roller cams.

I agree on ask the maker.

I have had roller cams with a iron gear pressed on (cam cast core?) to use the stock iron intermediate shaft.

and billet that had to have bronze gear.

If the cam is kind of copper color then use a bronze or coated gear, and bronze tip fuel pump push rod.

I used the Comp Cams Bronze tiped fuel pump push rod.
Seemed to be fine, but only had about 500 miles on it when I changed to EFI. Sold the pushrod to a friend, and it still looked brand new.
