Hi, the throwout bearing on my truck is getting noisy so I'm looking for a replacement. The truck is an '01 ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.2L and the NV3500 gearbox. I've read something about the t/o bearings being partly plastic and there may be a better one? I have no idea. Any of you all's thoughts I'd really appreciate

Cheers

I dont care for perfection/brute power or zoom branded clutches... made in china.

Anything from Valeo, sachs, LuK, or AMS is usually fine. They are mostly made in mexico, sometimes the friction disc's are from Korea.

OEM clutches are my preferred installation but they can be ungodly expensive and with chrysler anymore who knows what the hell your really getting unless you can see it before buying it.

so to follow up... bought a Sachs kit for $170.

box says made in China, plate says Korea, fwiw

old t/o bearing was trashed at 85k miles, clutch was not bad.

New clutch inspires wheelspin up
