What is the stock steel wheel for a 1967 GTX? 14x5.5"? Hollanders does not specify GTX in the listings. Also, any difference in the stock wheel on a 440 car vs. a Hemi?

1967 14 x 5.5 Steel wheel and are not easy to identify. They are often confused with later 14 x 5.5 Mopar rims. There is normally (but not always) a "5" stamped on either side of the valve stem hole, sometimes the 5 on one side is followed by an "L". Wheels made after the end of March 1967 have date stampings, earlier wheels do not.

Two more examples. Sometimes the stampings were very shallow. notice the "Eyebrow" stamped on the right in the first one? That is an imprint from the stamping die that surrounded the 5. The 5 failed to leave a good impression on this example (barely visible). Second pic shows the same witness mark AND the 5 which is easier to see.

Yes, if equipped with standard nut covers they were body color in 67. Full wheel cover cars were always black.

Makes sense!

Next question - what is the correct poverty cap for 67 Plymouth - were satellites ever available with poverty caps or just wheel covers? I see all kinds of stuff on the web, haven't found a sales brochure yet so don't know what is fact.

Satellites had standard items, like full wheel covers and AM radio. I have never seen a 67 Satellite without the fender mounted turn signals indicators.

The 68 wheels have a different wheel center stamping around the lug nut area, and they take a smaller diameter poverty cap. 68's also have a different shape to the rim behind the wheel center.

Scott, as far as the wheel stampings I have seen them all - very light & impossible to read, to nice, sharp stampings. I've sold many big H wheels where the "H" was barely visible & many that had a nice, bold H. Same thing with all the other stampings - sometimes they are very light. Ford wheels with the Ford oval range from one extreme to the other. I had a supply of 15x6" Ford wheels NOS from K-H in Venezuela that were genuine wheels, but none of them had the Ford oval stamp in them.

The only correct 67 poverty caps, standard.
Satellite was standard full wheel cover, upgrade options were simulated mag full wheel cover and chrome road wheels.

Optional full wheel cover on Belvedere/GTX, standard on Satellite (wheel is incorrectly painted body color on this example)

For a GTX 1967, you could get information about the stock wheel in the manual of the vehicle.
However, if you do not contain the user manual, you could get one free of cost online on Manuals.co , when you register a few details about your vehicle.

Here are some more pics. These were off of an early built 67 R/T Coronet. They show the style typical of a 1966 14x5.5 with the added axle pin holes between each lug hole. After early 67 they started receiving wheels that were the same but only had one axle pin hole between two lug holes.
