1973 Plymouth Gold Duster. 104,816 miles. V-8, automatic. 318 cu. in., 2 barrel. Factory front disc brakes. Air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, (rebuilt vacuum booster 2 years ago.). Bench seat. Column shift. Complete front end was rebuilt with all new bushings, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, tie rod ends. All suspension parts were cleaned and painted black. Air conditioning works great. Engine , transmission, and rear are all original.

NEVER ANY RUST!!! You won't find a nicer body, that wasn't restored!! Original under coating underneath. Floors, and frames very solid. Original snake skin top. Repainted in 1996 to a purple color , called Hawaiian Orchid. Door jambs, inside trunk, under hood, and engine compartment was painted. Engine was left in car during repaint, center part of firewall, directly behind engine was not painted. I am 3rd owner. Original owner was an older lady that bought it new, always garage kept, when she owned it. She owned it from 1973 until 1995. Second owner used it as a daily driver for about 5 months, then I purchased it . I purchased the car in 1996. In 1996 it was repainted , and has never been in the rain since. Always in a heated garage since..

ASKING $14,000 or best offer, With All Extra Parts $15,000 !!

Car could use bumpers rechromed. I always wanted to, but never got around to it. I had the tail light bezals rechromed, very nice! I have a new trunk mat to go with the car. I replaced the factory radio , in 1996, with a Kenwood am/fm/cassette, with a kenwood amp mounted in the trunk. Speaker are just sitting on the rear seats. I should have another radio bezal. Car has 14" rallye wheels, sand blasted and painted. Rear Rallye wheels are 14", they were purchased new, and I think that they are 2" or 3 " wider than originals. I don't remember.

I have a lot of extra parts to go with the car if you want them. Steering column, 8-3/4 center sections, instrument cluster, glove box doors, trunk lids, air filter housings, a few grilles steering boxes, traction bars, torsion bars, complete front suspension from a 1975 Duster, complete 360 cu. in. motor, with 40,000 some thousand miles out of a early 80's cop car, and much more.

2 different set of heads, 1 set of 360 heads rebuilt, and a set of mismatched heads, 1 - "J" head and 1 - "X" head, with new valves , springs and retainers, NEW PARTS: a set of Mancini frame connectors.

If you want all of the extra parts along with the car?? You will need a truck or a trailer for everything. I don't have time to use the car or work on it anymore. Car is Pennsylvania inspected, with classic plates. I have probably put less than four thousand miles on it in the last 10 years.

For sale is a 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 (P-code). The exterior of the vehicle is sunfire yellow with a black vinyl top and black interior (standard bench front seat). Stripe delete car, but original owner installed black stripe at later date. The vehicle recently went through a partial restoration before the powertrain was installed.

Powertrain / Chassis:

The 340 motor (not numbers matching) is stroked to 416 with head porting - Stage-I. The block has a 1969 date code. The block was checked for cracks... no issues. The engine contains an Eagle rotating assembly with Ross Pistons. The intake and carburetor are from Edelbrock. Overall, the outside of the engine assembly was made to appear stock (minus orange paint for 1969, headers and some misc. components). The engine has roughly 1000 miles on it, since restoration. Please note the odometer was not turned back when the new engine was installed.

The transmission (727 - numbers matching) is an automatic on the column. The transmission was rebuilt prior to being installed in the vehicle. The original torque converter was replaced with a 10" Billet (stall 2800 - 3000) that was purchased through A&A transmission.

The Dart has an 8.75 rear axle with a 3.91 gear ratio (Richmond) suregrip. The axle was also restored prior to re-installing back onto the vehicle. The bolt pattern in the rear is 4".

The vehicle has manual 10" drum brakes all around and manual steering. The front and rear suspension has been restored/rebuilt and parts/hardware were replaced as required. The steering column was restored (converted from power to manual steering). There is a new fuel tank assembly and sending unit installed along with new period correct fuel and brake lines (purchased through Inline Tube). The master cylinder is a reproduction with the original/period correct top.

The Dart has new A-Body reproduction/period correct leaf springs from Mopar.

The exhaust system contains Doug's Headers with a period correct exhaust system from Accurate Exhaust (from the header collectors back to the chrome tips).

The drive shaft was re-balanced and new u-joints were installed.

The original radiator was re-cored.

Exterior / Interior:

As previously mentioned, the Dart went through a partial restoration before the powertrain was installed. The engine compartment and underside of hood were repainted. The restoration took place roughly one year ago. The exterior paint on the Dart is not original, it was repainted when a previous owner had it. The fenders, doors, roof, quarters and trunk pan appear to be original to the vehicle.

A new vinyl top was installed with polished original stainless trim. The windshield was replaced along with a new seal. The rear window seal was replaced, but the original glass was reinstalled. All the side glass appears to be original. The front and rear chrome bumpers have some pitting, but appear to be original to the vehicle.

The interior was also restored. A new dash pad was installed. The rear bench seat/seat back were restored with reproduction/period correct vinyl from Legendary Interiors. The front bench seat was restored by the previous owner. The vehicle originally came with a vinyl floor, but I decided to install black carpet. The seatbelts were restored with the correct/reproduction tags installed. There factory AM radio was missing when I purchased the vehicle. To date, I have not replaced it.

The Dart does not have the heater box or heater core installed in the vehicle. The wiper system was also removed from the vehicle. Since I've owned the vehicle, the vehicle has not been out when there is a potential for rain.

The vehicle has a fender tag along with the original monroney label. This is a turn key Mopar that you can get in and show up to cruises/car shows or hit the drag strip for a little old time fun. Well over $30K invested.

71 Plymouth Duster, $18k obo....Its got to go.

Really nice 71 Plymouth Duster. Original slant 6 car, now has a 318 with 340 heads and a four barrel with a fresh 727 with a shift kit. Has black interior with bench seats and after market shifter. Car has 15" wheels and tires with drum brakes all around. Really nice driver that is mostly stock. Gauges all work, interior is real nice and needs the dome light re-installed after the new head liner was put in. Seats were recovered. Floor is rust free and painted everywhere. Engine bay was repainted recently as well.

Aftermarket items: Drive shaft loop, leafs moved in, line lock, air shocks and slapper bars, fuel cell, Weld wheels, battery in trunk with shut off switch, Mopar valve covers...and fiberglass scoop.

Paint was just redone and finished this week, and there is a new hood scoop on it. Has a little over spray on the exhaust tips and such, but looks really good now. Not a full re-paint of the whole car, but a lot more than I thought it was going to be.

More pictures available upon request.

I've decided it's finally time to sell my Duster to someone that will give it a good home. I've owned it since I was 12, did the full restoration and unfortunately, got myself into some debt that I need to take care of. My loss is your gain.

It's a 1970 Duster, originally a /6 car, white with green bench interior and it came with the 'Gold Duster' package. The car to my knowledge had some rearend damage to the tail light panel, had rust in the lower quarters and one hole in the truck floor -- of which all has been professionally restored.

The car now is a clone of a 340 car and the Twister. In 1971 they introduced the two models side by side and essentially, I took that add and merged the two models together. It's now a 1970 Duster 360, 4spd, 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 sure grip gears. Does have large bolt fury axles on the rear with green bearing. Front end is from a 73 340 Duster and has large bolt disk brakes. The motor is a 73' 360 with W2 heads, Harland Sharp rocker assemblies, dual plane intake, Edelbrock 750, MSD electronic ignition distributor so no annoying boxes under the hood, that on the dyno put out over 500hp and ft lbs of torque. The transmission is a 23 spline 4-speed with a custom pistol grip shifter from Harms Automotive, 'curious yella' grips to match the body color. The body had minor tail panel repair, new lower quarters and trunk extensions installed and small patch jobs here and there done prior to getting new curious yells GY3 paint. Hood is done in sort of a matte finish for easy cleaning unlike the original orgensol look. New vintl top was installed along with a go-wing and dual scoops with chrome bezels. Wheels are custom rallye wheels -- no trim rings, instead that part is chromed. Back's are 15x8 and fronts are 15x7. Interior is the 340 deluxe version so door panels have wood and chrome trim, excellent tuff steering wheel, rallye dash with tach, mint condition original dash pad. Back seat has new covers, from a need new covers as each has a slit where your butt sits, nothing major but not perfect. Everything else is brand new inside.

Overall, the car is a 8 out of 10 because I built it to drive it, not store it so there are minor imperfections here and there but still a beautiful car. Restoration started in 1998 and finished in 2005. Car is turn key, never fails to start even if sitting for months on end. Won best in show at Mopsrs at the Strip 2008 and received a spread in Mopar Muscle Magazine.

Currently, I am installing a brand new rallye dash wiring harness as the original was getting ratty. This should be done within a week. At the same time, I had the tach updated to be electronic by Auto Instruments. Also installing a new from windshield gasket and windshield. The only thing that does not currently work are the wipers and that's because I haven't located the correct wiper motor.

I also have a correct reproduction battery I haven't installed yet. Missing the correct yellow caps but I have green and red caps for the time being I can install.

Asking $28k or best offer, no trades. I'm only selling to pay off debt so please no low ball offers, serious offers only. I have well over $45 in the restoration, my loss is your gain.

Located in Colorado. Email questions to or PM here. Thanks!

8 3/4 Suregrip with 3;23s etc.
This is a turn key car with one older repaint (1980s). Has minimal rust on the lower rear qtrs and some scuffs, dents here & there. The floors, trunk and frame are very solid.
*Note* They only made 509 Fastback, 318 4-speed cars in 1969. There were actually more 340 4-speeds than 318 4-speed cars.

This 72 DUSTER340 36,000 mile car continues to retain 100% of it's original Formal Black (TX9) factory applied hue along with 100% of it's factory black bucket seat interior with original matching number drive train. The original front brake pads are still in the 4 piston Kelsey Hayes calipers and are only halfway worn. Originally ordered with the adhesive backed body side moldings, (V5X) these were removed in 1994 by owner two in favor of the more aggressive 340 stripes w/callouts.

Options are as follows, auto 727 transmission, power assisted front disk brakes,
electronic ignition, upgraded bucket seat interior/carpet, rally road wheels with RWL Goodyear polyglas E-70 14 tires, factory undercoat w/hood insulation pad, 2 watt AM radio & of course the aforementioned body side moldings. The factory original front head pipes are still in place and are in very good condition.

The original factory exhaust tips were replaced in 1994 with a set of NOS that continue to show as new. Documentation includes the buyers order, invoice with trade-in, 2 build sheets, consumer information sheet, 22 years of N.C safety inspection records with mileage recorded, Two sets of original keys with tags (never used), Chrysler Plymouth owners club
card, owners manual, warranty booklet & numerous early photo's of car and original owner.

This is a highly original survivor car that was invited and shown at the MCACN show Nov 2015. This car is dialed in and runs as good as it looks. Original owner continues to reside at same location in Ashville N.C. when car was purchased and welcomes inquiries from the next owner. This IS a survivor vehicle of the highest caliber. The following is a link to more info & photos of the car.

Serious inquiry's only. I can be contacted via PM. Dave

Price: $45,000 firm

May entertain Mopar trades of EQUAL value.

1970 Dodge Dart Swinger H/T Roller-

I am selling my '70 Dart Swinger. This car is perfect for the guy who has an engine and tranny sitting in the garage looking for a home. All the hard work has been done.

I bought it as a basket case and have got it largely reassembled but ultimately lost interest. It is Sassy Grass green and has had an AMD driver's side quarter installed along with a partial passenger side lower quarter. The leaf springs have been moved in with a Mopar Performance relocation kit. Although the car was originally a Slant 6/ Auto on the column it has been upgraded with small bolt KH disc brakes on the front and an A-body 8 3/4" rear with a 489 case 3.91 sure-grip gear. Also included are a set of Schumacher small block motor mounts. There is no engine or transmission included. The interior is passable and complete minus the headliner, the seats are great cores but obviously need recovered to match in the color of your choice. The frame, floors, cross members and trunk are solid. I have the front and back glass but they have not yet been installed. The rest of the windows are in and functional. It needs all weather stripping, brake and fuel lines. Original wiring is included along with all the seat belts, etc. The front fenders are '72's so the marker lights will need addressed. I have a clear title in my name.

If you are like me and can turn a wrench but can't do body work, this one is for you. The car is nice BUT does NOT fit my definition of a show car; and because of that its not too nice to drive. This car has the potential to be a cool daily driver or a street/strip project.

Asking $6,000. PM me with questions. Thank You.

1968 Dodge Dart GTS 383 727 automatic 3.238-3/4 sure grip rear, WWI white with black vinyl top and black bumblebee stripe, green interior. Has fender tag but no broadcast sheet. Rolling body restored and painted original color, dash and upper door frames painted green but not correct, suspension has not been restored just painted and undercoated. Manual steering and 4-wheel manual drum brakes. The quarter panels were replaced before acquiring the car. Numbers matching 383 but non numbers 727 trans, correct number 541. Both will probably need rebuilt as they were in my garage fire but and get a bit of water in them. The intake manifold was covered and the valve covers were on, plus the oil pan was off, but I have not disassembled the engine to check it. Here are some of the major parts:

Original exhaust manifolds
893 oil pan and pickup
Glen Ray 033 radiator new in box
Restored grille and headlight bezels done by Special-T's
NOS trunk finish panel in box, but really needs a repaint
Restored wheel opening moldings already installed.
5-5.5J wheels
Original driveshaft
Front buckets with tracks and rear seat in good shape with medallions
4-nice Mag Style wheel covers
Original carb and 14" unsilenced air cleaner
Complete exhaust system that was on the car when purchased, wrong tips

The wiring, door panels and most interior parts and dash pads, console, and many other small parts were in the garage fire but mostly survived. I have replacement parts for most of it. The seats and body were not in my garage fire thank goodness. The bumpers were replated but were in the fire so they will probably need done again. Have hood inserts and GTS letters plus all glass and trim. Any pictures needed will be taken when asked for. I am sure I have forgotten some things, so please ask! Asking $16K obo call Jim at 224-688-4352 or PM me here. wave

I have a complete 68 GTS 340 Dart Console 4 Speed Numbers matching, With fender Tag. Now that I have your attention the car is very rusty. I really would hate to part a numbers car so I have figured up the cost value of the parts which is my asking price. It has a clear Florida title. It has everything from the complete motor air cleaner to oil pan, complete 4 speed console and buckets. Correct 4 speed radiator with shroud and has the original 8 3/4. The car does roll so no problem transporting. The motor is out of car and in my garage and turns over perfect. The only things missing is the hood and deck lid, but rest of car is very rusty. I am trying to finish my other GTS so this project has to go. Located in South Florida $4000.00
