They're trying out a new culinary delight......

Eating Crow

I'm posting this recipe for anyone who does or says anything whereby they have to eat crow as a result. If you have to eat crow, it is best if you prepare it properly. Eating crow though is NOT recommended under any circumstances. Only very young ones are edible at all. Fully grown crows are too fiberous to be digestable by humans.

An alternative recipe would be to place the cleaned crow in a dutch oven. Cover with water. Boil for 2 weeks. Discard the crow and eat the pan!

Of course, there are ethics too. Crows are extremely intelligent birds. As far as I'm concerned personally, they are too "high" on an evolutionary scale to be ethical for consumption except under cases of extreme emergency. So, enjoy this for the joke it is meant to be, and do NOT attempt to put it into practice.

Guna Involved
Guna - Satvic if used as a joke, as intended. Tamasic if actually put into practice.

Ingredients
•2-3 VERY young crows
•1/2 cup carrots
•1/2 cup peas
•1 stalk celery, chopped
•1 onion, chopped
•2/3 cup milk
•1 tbs corn starch
•2 pie crusts

Preparation
•Kill, clean, remove head, feet, and feathers from crows.
•Sear skin over open flame.
Preparing "Pie"
•Cover with water and boil 5-6 hours, adding water as needed.
•Cool
•Remove meat from bones, and chop finely. Place in bowl.

•Preheat oven to 350.
•Mix cornstarch with milk, and stir until smooth.
•Add carrots, peas, celery, and onion.
•Mix well.
•Add chopped crow, and mix well.
•Put 1 pie crust in pie plate, piercing pie crust for ventilation.
•Pour crow mixture into pie shell.
•Cover with second pie shell. Seal edges with small amount of water, pierce for ventilation.

Cooking
•Bake 50 minutes until pie crust is golden brown.
Yield: As many as need to eat crow.

Serving
•Serve hot......and with PLENTY of salt!!!

That's funny Rick! Reminds me of a hunting magazine article I read about 30 years ago. It went into great detail about the right weapon, camo, and technique. It was a great article and I was reading very carefully

At the end of the article they had a recipe....I couldn't believe it. And they weren't kidding.

Course I don't take part of squirel, or opossum either.

505 yards passing...he was pretty awesome.

Just the NE Defense sucked. Good thing Patricia went to DET as he would have been kicked out by BillC.

Other than missing that catch there was not anymore he could have done to win the game. I think I can hear him rethinking the game in his head from here! I hear the sound of 5 superbowl rings tapping on table in Foxboro!

Like I always say, I admire his skill, he is very talented, brady is a great QB, just ruins it for me that they feel the need for cheating, he needs an asterisk by his name in the record books. I HATE CHEATERS!

I was pulling for the Patriots but the Eagles wanted it more. Congratulations to the Eagles on a game well played.
