Jeez...I looked at a '68 Road Runner in TN. two years ago for sale at 8.5k
which was twice the car this one is. It ran/drove/stopped good...needed
paint and interior work though. Had a rebuilt '71 steel crank 440-4bbl in it as well...shoulda bought it. eyes

It's got the decor package. That's where the interest stops for me.

Hard to really see what you'd get from those pics. I'm glad I bought my 68 when I did... I have yet to see one anywhere near what it is for twice the price.

I don't mind it but I prefer the bare decklid over the Satellite trimmed version also. This is an RM23 hardtop vs RM21 coupe, was the d├ęcor group included with the hardtop in'68?

This one looks like a better deal, but typical Flintstone trunk... scope

Was the body on fire? Too many 70's parts: bench seat, steering wheel, engine, wheels, hood pins, voltage regulator bracket . . .

I see a 72-up 440 (wrong cid) worth about $ 800 (assuming it does not need a rebuild), sitting in a pretty rough $ 2,500 (on a good day) 68 Road Runner body, assuming the fender tag is there .

RTS: yes, decor Group included on '68 HTs, optional on Coupes. Both (introduction of HTs & availability of Decor on Coupes) occurred mid-model-year at the same time.
