He guys, thought I would ask. I have a semi built drag cuda that I want to start finishing up. The glass is cut, has been for years but not installed. Its LEXAN I believe, I bought it a few years ago, its not older plexiglass or anything.

How do you guys install your glass. I need to do the front and rear glass. Do you use some metal trim to cover the edges and just screw it in. I want it to look nice a neat. Is it all fabed, or does anyone make any sort of kit for the cudas, like a metal trim over the edges.

Can I see a few pics of how you did your and get some advise.

Thanks for the link on loosing some weight on the doors. I still am looking for ose direction on what yuou guys use to trim your race glass in the front and rear glass if anything an dhow you installed them?

I riveted mine in, I used alum rivets to help avoid cracking the lexan. I did put some clear silicon in the frame before installing it to help seal out any water.

I used 1/4" X 3/4" weather strip (hardware store) and
black philips head screws to mount it. I also painted the
boarder black before mounting the lexan.

I painted the border black as well. IIRC it was about an inch all the way around.
