With all of the $2500-up rotating kits I have seen, I was surprised to find these guys. Seems like quality parts, Eagle/Mahle.

I would balance locally, but does anyone have any experience with CNC and these kits?

The FB reviews are good, but I don't "know" those guys...lol

Thanks!

I looked it over briefly
It really doesn't look that bad
I built many many engines using the mahle pistons. They seem to
Hold up fine
I have broken one stroker crank. But it was never determined why
It broke

I did just use one of there kits for a sbc build. A 385 stroker
For a customer /friend...

I have zero issues with the machine work and there balance work
Also
Every thing arrived on time and the build had no hiccups

So I would recommend doing business with them

I've never bought a stroker kit from CNC, but I have bought a decent amount of parts from them , and always fast shipping well packed. good prices.

I would rather spend a few hundred $ more and get a kit that needs a few hundred $ less correcting. I have seen really crappy machine work on all the eagle stuff I ever messed with, maybe they are better now? I won't waste another $ on em till I am convinced they have turned the ship around. SCAT tends to be similar price and much better out of the box machine work (not that you shouldn't check it either but its a lot better than eagle).

I have been shopping for a stroker kit and went on Scat's website and found a spreadsheet with their G3 kits. Summit carries their kits and the price isn't too bad. Comes with their I beam rods and Icon pistons.

Thanks I never noticed their stroker kits on that site. 10% cheaper than Summit. $2k for an unbalanced kit.

I only noticed because they have a kit listed on ebay, never heard of them before seeing the listing.. They sell scat I-beams for 50ish less than Jegs. 313 vs 365.

CNC Motorsports moves a lot of product. Besides Eagle they also deal Scat so would probably give you a decent price on the set with a Scat crank. I see that lately, many published engine builds have used Eagle cranks.

Go on Ebay and check out CNC Motorsport'ss feedback.

Mahle pistons are class leaders. They have moved into the high performance/racing world in a big way. They are serious about things like ring groove flatness, which we didn't hear much about back in the day, but it turns out to be critical to sealing.

There are so many good mid-priced brands out there that it is hard to make a bad choice.
