I just went though this with my 1970 Challenger with F8 interior. I initially tried Herb's paint but it was way too light in colour. Also on big panels the spray can would start spitting and make a mess. I then bought the paint from Dave at Performance Car Graphics. He supplied me with 2 pints and 1 quart of Dupont Vinyl Colour F8 paint. All with slightly different shades and gloss levels. Dave will tell you what gets painted with what paint. This product was not cheap but it worked extremely well and did a beautiful job.

dupont vinyl dye is great stuff. the only problem with it is you must apply it with a spray gun. it is expensive but worth its weight in gold. as with all vinyl dye jobs, prep is everything.

I am curious what the more well known shops use. (badalson, mancini etc...)

I too used the dupont vinyl paint- expensive but looks great
I got all the prep stuff from my paint guy -you have to make sure its very clean

Just put the car together so I can't say how well it will hold up but it looks great.
