I remember these cars from the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1946–1975. Digging further it seems 10-13 were built and 6 are known to exist.

The fender badge does say 340, right? None of the 440 cars are known to exist.

Seems like the guy could find plenty of information about these cars with a simple google search. There’s even a Facebook page for them.

That ad is FROM the guy who has the Facebook page, he is saturating the airwaves trying to dig up as much info as he can. I have been helping him out for quite a while now, and he may buy the one I have. His car was always a racecar and is missing the fiberglass hood, header panel, and deck lid. He really wants to use mine to recreate the parts for his car. He has found 6 of the 13 made, and found out that 2 were totalled, so he has been doing a great job! up

I always thought the header panel and grille area looked similar to the Australian Valiant but I take it none of those parts can be used?

Correct, the header panel is a unique piece designed just for the Savage GT. The original designer is still alive and in Florida, hopefully we can get some prints of the unique parts from him one day. luck The prototype was done on a 67 Barracuda then converted to a 68 before the first production car was made in 69, so they did not use the 69 "beak".

The grill looks like it came from a 70's Datsun.

Totally custom using aluminum bars and the original turn signals, minimalist is the best way to describe it. They wanted no interference for cooling, all had disc brakes on front and cooling ducts on the rear backing plates with bungs welded on.

How about this twist on the "Savage" A-body....A 1969 Swinger
I just found this ad in a 1969 program from a local Rochester, NY circle track.

I wish I knew more about the car or cars that they might have sold. My "garage find" 69 GTS that I bought from my friends estate 3 years ago came from Culver Dodge.
