This seems to be such a common theme these days, any car advertised at fair market value is grabbed by a dealer and marked up to a stupid price. Getting tiring shopping for another 71.

He does show a pic of the crossmember and it’s kind of a scary in one spot major dent and looks like rust. Poor AG hood insert fitment, not N96 anyway along with spoilers, louvers, was column shift. Just another hodge-podge like a lot of 71RRs. Seems nobody can resist the rear wing. Flypaper pointed out several years ago how these 71 cars get half azz restorations or just remain in crap limbo.

Yep, that is why the wheel opening moldings won't fit (as I pointed out in a previous post)

I also love how the car has the premium seats (houndstooth) but the lowest level door panels.

Very deceptive Ebay auction. Someone is gonna get burned!

There is nothing deceptive about the add. I seen this car the car was redone, and the other options added. The prior owner did not like the boring plan jane car so he added all factory options. The car looks great, the paint looks great. So whats wrong with that, it does not have a chevy engine and camaro seats. Original motor and trans, with a broad cast sheet. Super nice car.

Nothing wrong with adding period correct options for personal taste and enjoyment.
This is a hobby after all and whatever makes it fun should be fun.

Anything that is bolted on can be reversed with little fuss--that is IF the original equipment was saved for the next owner whom may prefer B-sheet matching #' options.

71-74 B body bench seats command a premium nowadys.

Odd.

I had a B7 RR 383 4 speed with a white half vinyl top.

B7 really looks good on any body style. It's a pretty underrated color.

Nothing deceptive, really?

Cleverly worded things like "The go wing and chin spoiler and rear window slats are all 1971 factory road runner options." Without mentioning the car didn't come with them originally. How about "The car still has the owners manual, and mic and strap, for the cassette deck that was factory." Sure seems to be leading buyers to think the car came with that stuff.

I agree it's cool to make our cars the way we wish they came by adding options, but implying the car came that way is certainly deceptive. The value of a real airgrabber hood car is 10/15% higher than a standard hood car. Rear window louvers would make this car 1 of 96. That would certainly change its value.

It is nice to see the car has been improved with new quarters. Again no mention of it not being original sheet metal, more deception...

I agree, unfortunately the guy that upgraded the car didn't keep the original components.

I spoke with him recently to tell him the car was for sale and he reminisced about what a dog it was...
