Based on the very limited info given, and the pictures shown, that would be a
Very good deal at that price. I have no idea why people don't try to
be a bit more informative with their ads . Personally, I would want a picture of the fender tag in the ad, & buildsheet (if their is one) or at least tell us if their is a sheet . A good clear pic of the fender tag would be the "money shot" and we don't even get that .
You can post as many as 20 pics on a craigslist ad, and it's free so I do not understand why people don't take full advantage of that.
I would want to see a pic of the dash VIN rad support and cowl numbers as well in the ad for sure , no ones going to drive 15 hours without seeing that up front,
so you might as well show those in the free ad .
Was it a solid car before the resto ?
Are the rear louvers and air grabber original to the car, or were they
added on ? These are all things a person would want to know before they picked up the phone to call .

For what the 71's have been bringing that is pretty much all the money for that car. 4-spd Dana would bring some more these are not 60K cars anymore. Maybe a very correct concourse restro but not the typical car.
71 Plymouth Hemi car is a different story.

It could be a Super Track Pack car with the 4:10 Dana on an automatic, but we just don't know... shruggy

I wish I liked B7 more.

I agree with Greg. Why get stingy on the ad?

Because he doesn't want to reveal the fact that it was a bare bones bench seat car (air grabber, rear window louvers, houndstooth buckets/console with cassete all added) Not to mention the quarters were "patched up" before there was reproduction sheet metal available as wheel opening moldings don't fit. All that being said, its a great looking car at a more than fair price for a guy that doesn't need a concourse restoration.

As I recall, a member here owned that car for several years and sold it maybe 7-8 years ago.

I will make the assumption that what you are stating here is true? If so then that blows what would appear to be a very good deal. Bummer...

I owned a matching-numbers B7 V-code automatic, but it was a white bench. Probably not the same car unless extensive changes were made to a fully-restored interior.

As the owner of a 71 B7 440+6 runner it amazes me how many 440+6 cars were built in this color. Espiecially when you see so few B7 383 cars.

I like it better than some I've seen advertised for twice the amount.

The owner ( Robert Strahler) is a real flake! Agreed to show the Car last Saturday and called and cancelled when I was on the way. Good thing I was only 40 miles from home when he called with some BS story about his sister getting in a car wreck. He said he would call in a few days to reschedule and I never got a call. I had several friends call him and he doesn't answer the phone and the car is still listed. Don't waste your time on this one, It was listed on CL a few years ago also by the same owner

Is yours an LA built car with buckets? If so, I believe I have a few photos of it from around 2005 before restoration.
