Anyone have any experience with buying fiberglass parts?

I'm looking for a dash, rear bumper and brackets for 68 dart. I understand most parts are not perfect, but also don't want pure junk... If it matters is for a race only car... Let's here your experiences good or bad.
Thanks
Jeff

If you love it lube it

You'll find people will like and complain about the same placs/parts... I've bought from Unlimited and it was a nice, but other say they only make junk.

Unlimited use to make junk before the company was bought and relocated to the High desert in SO CA ten + years ago. Bad reputation die hard shruggy
I've bought and use two hoods from them, good stuff now up

Agreed on AAR and Glasstek. Both top shelf products with great customer service.

Lightweight racing type parts are not going to be of the same quality as the resto/replacement type. Every lightweight racing part on my Challenger has needed work to fit and function as it should. I imagine that a dash and bumper are pretty straight forward either way. I would buy the bumper and make some aluminum brackets to fit it like you want it to look. There was a member here making a nice fiberglass dash for your Dart.

B1 is no longer in the dash business.... I have one in my stash of stuff. not sure when it will get installed.

Jeff Lingenfelter makes some nice aluminum brackets for glass bumpers.... in case your fab skills are limited and you like nice stuff (describes me to a "T").

I had a VFN hood on the Duster when I got it from my dad with a Harwood 5" cowl grafted to it. Not sure how much work went into it, but it was REALLY nice in the fit and finish department.... buuuuuttt is weighed like 37Lbs. I installed an Unlimited "lightweigh" hood on it last fall. You could literally see daylight through it. Painted it weighs just a bit over 14lb. fit and finish not as nice, but it's "racecar" good enough!

VFN Fiberglass have some nice products. I've used their doors and fenders and was happy with them. They did need some work though.

I have all Unlimited panels on my car. Yes, needed some touch up work, but so did the rest of the car. I like the end result.
