Strategy goes BOTH ways, but you gotta know how to play the game.

You do everything you can for the slight edge. I used to have the brake lights on my old 69 Charger wired to a toggle switch so I could leave them on during a pass if needed. If someone was dumb enough to offer me a car or the leave & was watching my taillights I would already be on the move before they knew it.
Water burnouts were big here also as everyone just poured their 20 oz bottle down. I had VHT in the OEM washer bottle with blue food coloring added to it just to give it that blue tint on the inner fenderwell in the stock location & plumbed it to spray over the rear tires in the wheel wells.
This car also had two systems on it. One big kit & one bigger kit depending on the opponent's car. Even used both kits a few times. Had two bottles mounted in the trunk but one had a dummy braided line going to it. So, if someone would say they would only run me on motor only. We would remove the two bottle out of the trunk & let them see us doing it. My actual second kit was another (3rd) bottle mounted up under the dash.....

It’s not cheating when there are no rules. It’s wit. If you have none, you won’t be competitive. It’s the difference between checkers and chess. There are those that should play checkers, and those that can play chess. Strategy is as fun as the race.

FWIW rumors seem to be floating around that there has been some discussions about a west coast version. Team Boddie I was thinking Gypsy Mike. I heard about him and Boosted GT long before these shows were even thought of. I just don't remember where.

I'm sure that all the Memphis racers are on the same page on JJ starting the races, when they move he drops his arms He is lucky to still be alive Some people out here hate to be cheated He does look like he has lost a couple of bad fights though, maybe over that

If he states a chase is a race, and you agree to that, how is that cheating? This isn’t the track, it’s street racing, there’s a big difference.

It WONT be Gypsy Mike. There are some issues there that I wont get into here. He has been on a hiatus for a couple years of late. Just not racing

I could not agree more with you Bob, just nuts to me to risk the money for a chance at 15 minutes of fame.
